Technical Flight Publications Project Integrator
Scope: Team oriented individual to provide technical expertise and support for the development and sustainment of A/MH-6, MH-60M, and MH-47G flight manuals. Must be able to interface and coordinate between user community, Program/Product Management (PM), Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Government personnel, and other outside contractors. Forecasting and management of technical publications usage and user requirements.
Responsibilities: (Not all-encompassing)
Gather source documents and equipment specifications from OEM’s and government agencies
Review and analyze existing technical documentation e.g. vendor manuals, Standardization directives, and Airworthiness Releases for implementation into technical publications
Perform in-depth research to support content change and development.
Review, critique and edit material for content, accuracy, and grammar on a wide variety of Special Operations equipment
Direct involvement with Government agencies to conduct tabletop reviews
Responsible for ensuring all material conforms to established standards and specifications
Verify Publication Change Requests
Coordinate, receive, store, and distribute publications
Limited domestic travel
Specific Skill Requirements
Rated Aviator and/or Standardization experience
Special Operations Aviation preferred
Must have excellent written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills
Must be proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
Self-motivated, resourceful and able to work independently with little supervision
Possess at least a Secret or ability to obtain Interim Secret security clearance $44.00 hourly
